Beginning of Project
The detail-oriented, talented and professionally trained technicians at Summit Custom Hardwood can take your problem hardwood flooring and make it look like it was just installed. As you can see, this Massaranduba Herringbone floor had several problems.
- Dry conditions caused the floor to shrink
- Summit Custom Hardwood technicians worked 6 man-days to glue custom milled 1/16 and 1/8 inch pieces
- Every seam was cleaned out and a new piece glued and hammered into the gap.
- The spaces were trowel filled and sanded
First Coat on Stained Wood
Our technicians then applied the first coat of custom stain and finish - with two-component waterborne urethane.
Middle of Project
Next a satin two-component polyurethane finish was rolled onto the stained Massaranduba hardwood flooring.
Finished Product – Custom Milled Massaranduba Herringbone, Stained and Finished with Satin Sheen.
